Coriander Dal idli


Ingredients:
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/3cup moong dal
  • 1/2cup grated coconut
  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 dry chili
  • 1 chopped green chili
  • 1 tsp mustrad seeds
  • 1/4tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp urdu dal
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp crushed ginger and garlic
  • pinch of hing
  • 2 tsp oil
  • Salt to taste.


Method:
  1.  Soak the rice at least 2 hours.
  2.  Then grind the rice with coconut, coriander leaves and some water.
  3.  Make a nice batter then add some salt and mix it well, leave it aside for 5 mints.
  4.  Pour this idli batter into idli pan after 10 mints turn off the flame.
  5.  Cut the boiled idli into small pieces.
  6.  Boil the moong dal and smash it well.
  7.  Heat the pan with oil.
  8. Add mustard seeds, Urdu dal, and dry chili and cumin seeds.
  9.  After that add chopped onion, green chili, ginger garlic, turmeric powder, hing and salt, sauté it everything together.
  10.  Then add boiled dal, mix it everything together.
  11.  After 1 mint add idli pieces, mix it everything together and turn off the flame.
  12.  Serve our coriander dal idli recipe.
  13.  This very simple and quick breakfast/dinner recipe.
