The Best Beef Jerky in the World!

Ingredients: (For 4 dehydrator trays worth of jerky)
2 cups of water
1 cup soya sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup liquid smoke
1/2 cup Worcester sauce
1/2 cup thick teriyaki sauce
1 tsp coarse salt
2 family packs or large sized steaks

Instructions:
~ Put all ingredients except steak into a bowl and whisk or stir to mix the marinade. Set aside
~ Cut steak into thin strips about 1/8" thick with no fat
~ Put the steak in the marinade and stir well to ensure all the steak is well covered
~ Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate overnight for best results, or a minimum of 6 hours
~ After at least 6 hours of marinating, put the steak in a strainer.
~ Push down on the steak with a spoon and drain as much as possible
~ Place a handful of steak on paper towel and pat excess moisture off
~ Place strips on dehydrator racks (4 required)
~ Set the temperature of the dehydrator to 160 degrees Fahrenheit or 71 degrees Celcius
~ Check regularly to see if pieces are ready. Your jerky will become drier after cooling
~ Test pieces occasionally and remove pieces as they dry
~ Approximate drying time is 3 to 4 hours but time varies so do check often
~ Let your jerky air cool for at least 1 hour on paper towel
~ When cooled, store in a jar
~ Jerky lasts several weeks at room temperature or longer if stored in the refrigerator.
